The Jetta has been a force to be reckoned with in the small car segment for decades. In 2019, the Jetta model’s seventh-generation debuted with exciting updates throughout the cabin and the exterior. Performance

In 2021, the Jetta had a four-cylinder, turbo 1.4-liter engine. This engine produced 147 horsepower. The 2022 version of the Jetta comes with a turbo 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. This improved engine has the same torque as its predecessor and horsepower bumps up to 158. Both model years are offered with your preference of a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Appearance

When you compare the 2021 and the 2022 Jetta next to each other, you will see that they both have the same curved, confident profile and dual linear elements through the side doors. However, the 2022 Jetta has a revised grille on its rounded nose. This grille features linear elements that transition into the wraparound LED lights surrounding the headlights. The lower front fascia and the rear bumper have also been redesigned.
